Pierre Laurent Timepieces has been the Official Timekeeper of the Toronto Marathon since 2005. The donations and contributions enable the event to organize a world class marathon showcasing Toronto's heritage, landscape and parks. Each year the event raises funds for various non-profit organizations such as Princess Margaret Hospital, Sick Kids Foundation, Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, Team Diabetes Canada and Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. In 2009 Pierre Laurent started "Team Pierre Laurent" which runs the race in support of the different charities associated with the Toronto Marathon.
